Question

I moved my family my wife and two kids to BC on decmber 2020 but i am still living in alberta. where i should change my wife residency in turbotax?

    When you start your return under my Info- it will ask "Where did you live at the end of the year?". It will then ask you which province you live in, and you will enter the province. If you are completing a joint return, be sure you enter her province as British Columbia. 

     

    This is important as the tax credits differ from province to province.
