Claim hotel cost while spouse is in hospital more that 40km away from home

spouse was in hospital for 8 days, and I stayed in hotel for 6 of those nights,  How do I claim in as medical expenses

    You can claim the medical travel expense as an "other" expense on the normal medical entry screen. Please note that for you (as an attendant), you would need a medical practitioner to certify in writing that your spouse was able to travel alone to get medical services, in order to be able to claim your travel expenses.
