Question

Just completed by 2024 taxes and during the state section there was a question about grants because CA waived a certain number but I wasn't sure how to answer?

There was a link but it also provided very little information. It had some code but I'm guessing that was a Turbo Tax code and not an actual state or federal tax code.

Please provide more information so we can help. Did you receive a grant from the state of CA, or are you asking if CA taxes a grant that you received from another entity?

Sadly I skipped so I could complete and there’s no way to get back to that question from turbo tax. I just figured that I would be able to review everything even after filing from turbo tax (get back into the flow). And if needed file an amendment. Unfortunately the return itself and the question in turbo tax have no correlation so I’m not even sure where to look in the return itself (all that is accessible now that I’ve filled; downloaded pdf).
