Can I file a placeholder return today and amend it later to avoid late fees?

    Hi Tiffany,

     

        Since you are self-employed your personal tax return is not due until June 15 of the calendar year. However, if you have a balance owing in respect of your 2022 tax activity, payment is still due on April 30.
