Can you ammend your own T5008 slips? I found a lot of inconsistences in the one sent to me by my online brokerage (Questrade) i.e. erroneous cost and unconverted USD

    You would have to contact the company that issued the slips and ask them to issue amended slips. If you just change them on your own the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will revert them to whatever they have on file.

    @N01405817 Hi, Thank you for your reply! Questrade is not ammending my T5008 slips, I have erroneous entries in Box 20, my USD transactions are not converted into CAD. They are saying I can make the corrections myself. So this naturally got me confused. What should I do?
