How do I remove my two sons who are no longer dependents from my tax return.

Both of my sons are over 18, how do I remove them from my tax return?

You can still keep your children as dependants if there are credits or deductions you can claim because of them, like medical expenses or tuition transfers.

But if you would like to remove them, select My Info, then Dependants Information from the left side menu. Then click "Remove" next to the dependant you want to delete.
