How to correct a mistake on my tax return?

If you haven’t filed your TurboTax Online return, you can change your name by following the steps below.

• Once in your return, go to the menu on the left side 
• click on My Info then [someone]’s personal information 
• let's get the rest of your personal info screen will open 
• correct the information and click Continue at the bottom of the screen to save your entry.

You can correct  a mistake on your tax return in the following ways:

• Login into your account, Click continue on the return you want to correct.
• Click on the find icon on the top right corner.
• Type personal information and double click on the Personal Information - Name and Birth Date.
• Now you can make the necessary correction.

There is an another way also, the navigation panel on your left side. 

• Login into your account, Click continue on the return you want to correct.
• Click on My Info and double click on the Your Name's Personal Information.
• Now you can make the necessary correction.
