How to file for someone else in household

You can file for members in your household by using your account and start a new return. Be advised that all returns will be done in your account as the code which came with your software has to be used in one account only (yours).

Before you start the return, make sure the person you are doing the tax return for is comfortable with sharing their information as their information/return will be together with yours and others in one account. While preparing the return, please keep in mind of the questions showing up will be regarding their information, so be sure to confirm the information with them and report accurately.
