How to undo identifying joint filing with spouse?

I started my return and stated to file separate from spouse. Now I am doing my spousal return, its asking me to complete all my information again. How do I undo the joint filing?

Unfortunately, you will need to restart your return completely. When asked for who you are filing the return you will say "Myself". You can then do your spouse's return separately at a later time.

On the Home screen, open the Personal Information tab.
In the Personal information window:
- You will see your marital status.
- Select Next until you see the question "Do you want to prepare your returns together"
- Be sure to select "No" for that.
