Question

I filed a return on March 13 and received another tax slip and refiled on March 14. First return was assessed. No action on the refile to date Is this typical?

It’s been almost 40 days since I refiled. This seems long not to hear anything.

    You should contact CRA for this question or have a look in your CRA My Account to see if there is any update about your return. 

     

    Normally, it is recommended to wait until you receive your notice of assessment before making any changes. Sometimes, the changes are made directly by the government, and you are notified on the notice.
