I forgot to include medical expenses in my filed 2021 tax return, which has already been assessed. Can I file again now or do I have to wait until my 2022 filing?

Depending on the date of your medical expenses, you can claim them next tax season. You can claim a 12 month period at a time for your medical expenses. For example if your medical expenses were from the month of July 2021- then you can put the date from July 2021- July 2022 when completing your 2022 tax return.
