Is my 2023 tax return submitted correctly via TurboTax? My wife got her refund, but I haven't. Should I wait longer or contact CRA?

I filed my first tax return with my wife using TurboTax. She got her refund, but I haven't received mine. CRA said I should wait, but I'm unsure if there’s an issue. I also did not receive an email from CRA after filing, but my wife did.

If you have already contacted the CRA and they told you to wait, you may need to wait for another week before calling them back for an update.

Typically, if this is the first time you are filing your tax return, you will need to send your return via postal mail. In this case, your wife can use NETFILE to submit her return, while you need to print out your return and mail it.
