Question

It asks who am I preparing the return for? My spouse has never been to Canada and is currently in Belgium, what should I choose here? Myself or My spouse and me?

I landed in Canada in September 2021, my spouse lives in a separate country due to her work obligations.

    You should choose "Myself" and when asked, you will say married and your spouse is a non-resident with zero income (as she did not make income in Canada). Do not claim a spousal amount if you are not supporting her.
