Paid for Deluxe, misclicked upgrade during review - unable to complete return without paying more but also unable to use my credit on a regular return, how do I fix?

I want to be able to submit a Deluxe Return, which I have already paid for. I know you can't "downgrade", but can I not use my payment for Deluxe on a regular Deluxe return??

If you are claiming any of these: stocks, rental income, capital gains, and other investments, the software will automatically upgrade. When paying before Netfiling the amount will be adjusted and will include the amount you already paid when you bought the software. Yes, you can do a different Deluxe return.
