I have filed taxes using netfile on 20 Feb and forget to claim BC rental tax credit benefit. Can I claim it using Refile or do I have send t1 adjustment by mail to CRA ?

Yes, you can use Refile to add it to your return.

I tried to Refile for this, but even after ticking the BC renters credit box, still the provincial tax return doesn't add up on the Provincial credits summary page.

Any idea what needs to be done?

If you are having difficulties with the Refile, there are other ways of doing adjustments as seen in our TurboTax article: How to Change Your Tax Return After You’ve Filed. You can even call the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and do it over the phone by calling 1-800-959-8281.
