What are the consequences of refiling after the due date

    If you originally filed your return before or on the due date, there is no consequence of a late entry of your return by refiling. When you refile, adjustments will be made accordingly. If you make an adjustment that results in you owing, you should contact the Canada Revenue Agency for clarification on this by calling 1-800-959-8281.
