Question

The page to add a spouse comes up, I don't have a spouse I am claiming single but it will not let me proceed without adding information, what do I do?

    To fix this error, you have to change your Marital Status to "Single". 

     

    Use the following steps to change your marital status in TurboTax Online:

    1. Select Find from the menu, enter Marital Status, and select Go
    2. On the What’s your marital status? step, change your status (and enter the date of change if it happened during the tax year), then select Continue
