Question

We got married on Jan 5, 2024. I have officially changed my name. Do i use my new name or old name for this years taxes since we were still just common law in 2023

    Before filing your taxes, it is important to advise the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) of your name change, otherwise your return may not be eligible for Netfile. You can change it by calling them as seen in the above link.
