When starting my return, I entered my spouses name wrong, how may I change it in the software?

If you are using our Turbo Tax Online version please click on my info on the left hand navigation pane. Under the same you should see ' Spouses Personal Information' , click on the same and you should be able to edit the name.

Have you already certified the return? You will not be able to modify any personal data if you have. If so, you will need to either start the return process over or use the Print & Mail option to manually correct the printed return's information.

If not, the modifications are still possible.

@5846661 At the top where the refund/amount owing is shown, click on your wife's name. Then select TurboTax 2024, click on "Your Personal Info Summary" and then "Edit".
