    The final carbon tax payment for individuals will be issued by the CRA starting April 22, 2025.

     

    If you filed your 2024 income tax and benefit return electronically on April 2, 2025 or earlier, you'll get the payment in April. If you filed after April 2, then you'll still get the payment, but you may have to wait until after April.
