Where is the QR code on my personal income tax return?

Thanks for your question. In order to pay your taxes owing at a Canada Post location you'll need to generate a QR code from your myCRA account.  There is a full walkthrough available on the CRA's website.

Once you sign into your myCRA account, the following steps will help you generate the required QR code.

1. Select the "Proceed to pay" button next to the debt you'd like to pay

2. For My Account: Select "Pay in person at any Canada Post outlet using a QR code" (third-party service provider fees apply), select "Next", review, and select "Submit" to generate your QR code

   For My Business Account: Select "Generate a QR code and pay at Canada Post", select "Next", review, and select "Generate"

3. Print your QR code
