Did you use the Online version in 2021 to file 2020? You can log back into your account and see what it says. And check back though your emails.

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?

When did you file the 2020 tax return? Did you file it by the filing deadline in 2021? Or did you mail it in at a later time? If you mailed it any time after April 15, 2023, you will not receive a refund, since it was forfeited by filing it too late.
