Question

A CPA submitted my taxes last year and they noted an overpayment to be applied this year on my IL return. How do I apply this in Turbo Tax?

    You will enter the information under the estimated taxes entry.  Follow these steps to enter:

     

    1. Click Federal
    2. Click Deductions and Credits
    3. Click 2023 Refund applied to 2024
    4. Select start next to 2023 state refund applied to 2024
