I need to amend my tax return to include my 1099-NEC. When I am in the platform to amend it, do I need to add all of my W-2 information in again? I clicked amend and that what it seems like it wants me to do but I just need to quickly add a 1099-NEC, I don't understand why I would have to add my w-2 again? Thanks!

No, don't re-enter anything you already filed. You should only be entering the 1099-NEC - but TurboTax will walk you through setting up a Schedule C. Self-employment gets reported on Schedule C.
