Question

Amended Federal return for credit that was hard to find on Turbotax. Original balance due paid ACH and Amend Refund by ACH bank transaction. Why should I mail check?

Can't I use ACH set up for large payment, then refund? Does mailing check void both ACH transactions? It is now only March 11th.

    If you already paid your original balance due and you're now due a refund based on the amended return, you won't need to mail a check or make any type of payment. You should be able to set up the refund as a direct deposit.
