Amended return because of a K-1 correction

After filing my return, I discovered that I had made a mistake on a K-1 on Line 20. I used TurboTax to amend my return and correct the K-1. The correction did not result in any changes to my tax calculations. When TurboTax generated my amended return for filing, it did not include the modified K-1 information. Is there a way for me to force TurboTax to include the corrected K-1 information in the E-filing?

Thanks for the response. In answer to your question, there were over 10 different lines with several different codes. I'm not questioning why the changes did not change my taxes. That's not the issue. The issue is that the K-1 has changed. Therefore, I need to send the IRS amended K-1 information. But, the amended forms (1040-X, etc.) that TurboTax E-file would submit to the IRS do not include the amended K-1. That's the problem. Apparently, TurboTax did not detect that the K-1 was modified. One solution would be for me to skip E-file, print the forms, append the amended K-1, and mail them to the IRS. Not my first choice, but maybe my only choice.

First, print the tax return to review the differences from the original to the amendment. There may be different carryover amounts in your return which would affect future years. One form to review would be Form 8995.

Then, you can mail the return or try to e-file whichever you decide.
