Can I amend my 2022 tax return on my new computer which does not have the Turbo Tax desktop loaded on it?

I don't remember if I filed 2022 using Turbo Tax Online or the desktop version, but I definitely used Turbo Tax.

If you used the Desktop program you need to have the file ending in .tax2022 on your computer.

If you can't find  your 2022 return you can amend by first recreating the actual wrong original return. Then when it matches each line that you really filed you have to tell Turbo Tax you will mail it so it thinks it was filed. Then you can amend it.
