Can I get a copy of my 2017 federal and state tax return but it only allows me to go back to 2018. Is there still a way that I can get that.

TurboTax and the IRS save returns for seven years and then they are gone. You can still get a transcript of your federal return from the IRS, but you probably will not be able to get an actual copy of the return.
