can i view my tax forms as i complete my tax return?

i cannot see various forms to understand how i paid, e.g., net investment income tax

If you are using the desktop download just click on Forms mode to see the forms and schedules whenever you want to. If you are using online TurboTax, you do not have forms mode. You can preview your Form 1040, and when you are finished you can pay your fees to print or view the whole return including all forms.
