Can't change prior direct deposit information

I followed the instructions intuit offered, but it only displays the prior bank information. I can't change it!! And I don't want to pay $29 to talk to a human when calling customer service. Ridiculous!!!!

You cannot change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted. The IRS does not allow it.

I did find this information, but it really didn't help me. The problem was, my old direct deposit information showed on the order screen and it wanted me to confirm it there first. I was afraid to do that so I clicked other option for paper check, etc. It did take me to the next screen again with the old information, but I was able to then change it to the new information before filing. But this was definitely not clear and very confusing. Thank you for reply though.
