Can your refund be sent faster do to hardship

I had a major surgery at the Huron regional med.center in January been laid up,have to go get another opinion next week and I will need the money to get there

I agree with Don that the Taxpayer Advocate can at times speed up delayed refunds. However, I have never heard of them expediting the processing of a return and the normal three week refund period.
