Does anyone know how the filing process works for an amended return. I had to amend my return for 2022 and have printed and sent it in numerous and haven't received it.

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.

What do you mean "numerous"? Did you send it in several times? You should only send it once. That may be confusing the IRS and delaying it more. When did you mail it?
