The box at the top of TurboTax shows Federal Tax Due. However, this amount is not on my 1040, which shows a different amount owed. I can't figure out why it is different. My 1040 appears to be correct, but I'm afraid to file when the TT total is showing such a big difference. How do I figure out where the discrepancy is?
