Hi - I completed a Form 1098-C for vehice donation, but would like to amend one of the questions. Where do I find this form now? thnks

The donation can be added to itemized deductions by following these steps:

1. Login to TurboTax
2. Select Deductions & Credits
3. Select Donations to Charity
4. Select Yes and complete the interview questions

Itemized deductions are subtractions from a taxpayer's Adjusted Gross Income.  In order to itemize, the itemized deduction must be greater than the standard deduction.

You should follow these guidelines to make changes or add a document to a tax return already filed and accepted by the taxing agency. 

• You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed.
• You must use the same TurboTax account you used for the original tax return.
• Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return.
• The refund calculator will start new at $0 and only reflect the refund or tax-due changes.
• Only make changes to the areas of your return that need to be corrected.
• You must file an amendment three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later).
