How can I file a previous year's taxes myself?

I need to file my 2023 taxes myself. How do I do that? Please include all steps.

TurboTax Live Basic Online

1) Buy, Download and install the 2023 "desktop" software on a full MAC or windows computer (Windows works far better)

2 ) start it up, prepare your tax return...and print it out, sign date....put in an envelope, and take it to the Post office to mail it in (Only professionals can e-file prior years....you have to mail file). IF you have to file a state...that has to be mailed separately.
