Question

How do I amend a tax return to Married filing jointly and include in the smart sheet the amount paid by both spouses?

I saw the smart sheet at first when I was do the amendment, but I don't see how I can go back to it to include my spouse's amount paid.

    When you are amending your return, you must include any refunds already received or taxes paid. Do not file before the original return is settled. You might mean the line 12 amount of tax withheld (w2) or line 16 for tax paid after filing. Refunds go on line 18.

    Where does this form show up again on turbo tax online? I saw it in the beginning but I can’t go back and edit it.

    You can change the selection under the section Personal Info.  Then select edit under My Info.
