Please follow these steps to apply your 2024 refund to your 2025 tax return:
 

  1. Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return.
  2. From the left panel, choose Federal and then Other Tax Situations
  3. Click the drop down menu next to Additional Tax Payments
  4. Select Start/Revisit next to Apply Refund to Next Year
  5. From here you can choose to apply part or all of your refund to 2025
