You should enter your non-cash charitable contributions by following the steps outlined below, and they will flow to your Form 8283.

    1. Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return
    2. Under the Deductions and Credits section, choose Add/Edit/Review next to Donations to Charity in 2024
    3. Choose Add Charity and enter the Donee (who you donated to) and choose the Type of Donation
    4. Answer all of the follow-up questions to enter your donation information
    5. Any Non-Cash Donations will flow through to your Form 8283

    Thank you for the information

So if the Donor advised Fund company created a form 8283, I can enter all of this info on the Charitable donations section?   And it needs to be mailed in? or does the TT software complete the form?

    Thank you

Yes, TurboTax will help you prepare the form. This form can and should be filed with your tax return. It is not a signature document which means it must go with the tax return. It can also be completed in TurboTax Online or TurboTax Desktop using the Step by Step interview. It can be e-filed with your tax return.
