Question

How do I look at the actual IRS forms a filled in by TurboTax?

I want to review what TurboTax has actually filled on on the underlying IRS forms. (You could do this in prior years...), but now there appears to be no "form view". Or am I missing something?

You can view your Form 1040 plus Schedules 1, 2 and 3 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

If you want to view/print/download your complete tax return to include all forms, schedules and worksheets you will have to pay the TurboTax account fees.

To pay the TurboTax online account fees by credit card, without completing the 2023 return at this time, click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. On the next page, to pay by credit card, click Pay Now. The next screen will show a review of your Fees, click on View payment options. Complete the credit card section and click on Review your order.

That all sounds great but none of those options are actually available on my Mac version!!   Extremely frustrating that all the help references tools and options that do not exist!!!

Are you using the Mac Desktop program?  I helped my friend do hers on Mac.  There is a Forms.  Can't remember if there is a Forms button but you can find it on the top Apple bar.   Move your cursor up to the very top so the Apple bar opens.  I took pictures of her screen but they are too big to attach.  I'll have to figure out if I can reduce them.

In addition to the information shared by DoninGA for using TurboTax Online, if you are using a Windows CD/downloaded version of TurboTax, click Forms in the upper right corner of the screen to see the actual tax forms and worksheets used in your return.

If you are using a Mac CD/downloaded version of TurboTax, click Forms on the top row toward the left side of the screen.
