How do i make changes to my federal return before i file?

    If your return interview is closed because TurboTax thinks you were finished, then go to the Tax Home page and click on "Add a State."   That doesn't really add one, but opens the return interview.

     

    After you make the changes, go through the Review again.   And be sure any changes also reflected on the state return, if applicable.
