For 2024? Have you filed yet? What do you need to uncheck? 1040 6a is the gross amount of Social Security . Click on Add a State to let you back into your return.

There is no box that can be checked on Form 1040 line 6a. What exactly is the box you want to uncheck? What form is it on? What is the label or description of the box?

Have you already filed the tax return with the box mistakenly checked, or are you still working on the tax return?
