If you had to verify your identity with the IRS it can take a couple of months for them to finish processing your return and issue your refund.  Only the IRS is in control, and only the IRS can give you any information.   You can watch for information on the IRS refund site.

 

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
