How long does it take to get a refund check from TurboTax Money Back Guaranteed Policy? I got approval but no refund!

I checked the turbotax refund status page at https://accounts.intuit.com/app/oirr/caseTrack and it shows that my case has been APPROVED however there is no date of when the refund check will be mailed out... I called Turbotax today and waited 20 minutes waiting for a rep named Abraham to figure out how the refund process works -- he told me we have to wait 6-8 weeks for refund check to be mailed which seems a very long time, almost like a rebate check offer! Anyways, in my situation a duplicate purchase/order was made by accident and so need for two Turbotax licenses. Anyone else still waiting for their refund check its been 3 weeks already....

I don't think it will take that long. When I had to do it a few years ago, as best as I remember I think it took about 3 weeks to get the product refund check, which was also for a duplicate purchase. So hopefully yours will come soon, maybe this week. I realize my experience is anecdotal.

Hi — I sure hope so because the other person just posted it won’t be until July 2025 which is 15 weeks away!!

Those checks used to get processed when there was a certain number of them to send. The process may be different now. You are approved so will get it at some point.

Many of those refund checks get mailed in July. Yours might come sooner but there is no way for a phone rep to check on it.

If that’s true July is 15 weeks out from today — so much for being told it’s 6-8 weeks from the rep Abraham…. And even only 3 weeks from the other replier 🙁🙁
