How to amend 2023 due to 2024 Form 1099-R code P

If I enter the 2024 Form 1099-R data into the 2023 Form 1099 -R, entering code P for box 7 says it was an overpayment in 2022. Should I put code 8?

No, select code P and then in the follow-up question you will select that this was a 2024 Form 1099-R and this will tell TurboTax that this is taxable in 2023.
