How to amend CA tax form online for 2023 return?

I went to 2023 and amended the return. I know I have to mail the federal amended return, but it says ca amended can be done through turbotax on line. It just doesn't work any way I've tried it

You can use TurboTax Online products to amend a prior year California return. See this help article for more information.

 

You would need to mail any 2023 returns prepared in 2025. TurboTax e-filing is only for the current year.
