how to pay irs after amending return. will the money be withdrawn from the account i normally receive return to?

After you've finished entering your changes for your Amended Return, in the FILE section you'll be asked how you want to pay your Balance Due. You can select direct debit, or mail a check.

If you select direct debit, you can indicate that you want to use the same bank as you last used to pay your tax return, or change bank info to use a different bank.
