The 5 digit e-file PIN is any 5 digits you select.  You must enter your 2023 AGI for your electronic signature.

 

If the IRS sent you a 6 digit Identity Protection PIN then that needs to be entered here - 

 

To enter, edit or delete a 6 digit IP PIN

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Other Tax Situations
Scroll down to Other Return Info
On Identity Protection PIN, click the start button
