Question

I accidentally forgot to mark that I can be claimed as a dependent on my taxes. How can I fix this?

if your persons filed and claimed you, your return will be rejected. you can fix this and re- e-file

if they haven't filed yet, their return will be rejected. you return will be accepted unless there is another issue. you'll have to wait until it's fully processed and then file an amended return.
