i added two dependents to my 2024 taxes and it did not change my amount due

Who are the dependents? Are they qualifying children or qualifying relatives? If they are qualifying children you might be getting child tax credit or earned income credit. If they are qualifying relatives you might only get the non-refundable $500 credit for other dependents, which can reduce your tax owed.
