Question

I cannot change the info for my deposit account. I have not yet filed, but I am ready to as soon as I can change the account.

I don't seem to have the same menus on my screens as the automated help bot

You have to go to Step 2 in the FILE section.

You cannot  change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.  The IRS does not allow it.
